Kettering University

If you're interested in furthering your education in the field of industrial engineering, I would like to suggest that you check out Kettering University. Kettering is different than other universities because of their unique co-op program.

If you do your research on engineering co-op programs, you will find that Kettering is unlike most other universities. At Kettering, you can begin working in the co-op program in your freshman year. Students are rotated between work and school every three months to ensure they get practical work experience. This will be a great asset to your resume after graduation, when you are searching for a job in your field. If you already have work experience, you will be a step ahead of other graduates. This is not something you see at most universities. At the website you can watch videos of students who have gone through or are now enrolled in the co-op program.

Kettering has been ranked #1 in industrial and manufacturing engineering for eight years in a row in US News and World Report's annual "America's Best Colleges Guide for 2008," and it's ranked #3 in mechanical engineering. Kettering University has some of the best engineering programs in the country. It is definitely worth a look into enrolling to this school.
